Culture

Culture The Courtyards is within walking distance of the Pacific Design Center, several small live theaters, and numerous art galleries along Melrose Ave. and Beverly Blvd. The Miracle Mile and Museum Row is a few minutes south where you’ll find the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), Petersen Automotive Museum, and the La Brea Tar Pits. The Hollywood Bowl has been an area favorite since 1922. Additionally, the Los Angeles Music Center in downtown Los Angeles is minutes away. There, you’ll find the Ahmanson Theatre, Mark Taper Forum, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, and the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

Recreation

There is plenty to keep you busy throughout the surrounding areas. Barry’s Bootcamp, LA Fitness, and Gold’s Gym are within minutes, not to mention the numerous mani/pedi houses and holistic healing clubs. Try out one of the city’s sports leagues, such as WeHo Dodgeball! La Cienega and Santa Monica Blvds provide ample salons and spas, most within walking distance of The Courtyards. Celebrate Gay Pride, Halloween Carnivale, and the LA Marathon, all annual events that run down Santa Monica Blvd. Or enjoy a book in Kings Road Park located next door to The Courtyards complex. The all new West Hollywood Park boasts a state-of-the-art new sports auditorium with two rooftop pools (coming Fall 2021), small and large dog parks, and plenty of open space for picnics as well as pick-up basketball matches.

Shopping

Have anything you’re looking for within a few minutes drive, in many cases a short walk. The Beverly Center, The Grove, Target, all within minutes of your condo. Stroll one block south to the WeHo Farmer’s Market on Melrose Place or take a quick drive to the LA Farmer’s Market at Fairfax & 3rd. Gelson’s Market is one block north and Trader Joe’s, Pavilions, Whole Foods, and Bristol Farms are just a few minutes away. Whether stocking up on clothes, jewelry, or groceries, you’ll rarely need to climb into the car.
